Directions to St. Joseph Parish Complex (from North):

From south 95, take Route 7 South/Route 1 South exit. Stay on Rte. 1 south to Rte. 299 west (exit 136 - turn right, which is the second exit after the toll plaza.) After about 1.4 miles (at the 4th traffic light), turn right onto Cleaver Farm Road (between Ashley Plaza and the Wilmington Trust Bank). Make the first left into our parking lot --come to the second building.

Directions to St. Joseph Parish Complex (from North 896):

Take Rte. 71/301 into the center of Middletown (the 3rd traffic light after you come over the railroad tracks at the 301/71 split). Turn left onto Main Street (Rte. 299 east). At the 2nd light, turn left onto Cleaver Farm Road. Take the first left into our parking lot --come to the second building.

Directions to St. Rose of Lima from St. Joseph Parish Complex

North on Rte. 71 (Broad Street) over Summit Bridge. Turn right at first light onto Rte. 71. Take next right (watch for sign for Delaware Veterans Cemetery) and follow that road into Chesapeake City to stop sign. Make a right onto Biddle Street, church is on the left next to firehouse.

Directions to St. Rose of Lima

Maryland #40 West to Maryland #213 South (at the Big Elk Mall). Maryland #213 South to North Chesapeake City. Turn left onto Lock Street at the big sign for Schaefer's Canal House (the last left before the bridge) to St. Rose, down the hill on the right, just before the Fire House.

Directions to St. Joseph Parish Complex (from St. Rose)

Lock Street toward the Canal to Biddle St.; left on Biddle and drive 4 miles east to the Delaware Veterans' Cemetery. Just after the cemetery, turn left on Del. 71 to the traffic light at Brennan Estates, then left on Del. 896. At the Middletown Nucar and Dunkin Doughnuts you will see a railroad crossing & traffic signal; take a soft left, following #71 over the tracks. At the third traffic light, turn left onto Main St. (Del. 299); . At the second light on 299 (just after the M.O.T. car wash on your left) turn left onto Cleaver Farm Road (between Wilmington Trust and Ashley Plaza), then make an immediate left onto the grounds of St. Joseph Parish Complex.

 

Directions to Old Bohemia (St. Frances Xavier) Shrine

From Wilmington:

Take I 95 south to Middletown exit (896). Follow 896 over Summit Bridge (the canal); at 2nd light, go straight. (Do not follow signs for 896 to turn left). This will now be Rt. 71/301. Continue straight past Dunkin Donuts (on your right). You will pass a McDonald's on your left. Keep going. About two miles down the road you'll see Hoober's Farm Equipment on your left; bear right onto 299. Go into the little town of Warwick; after you pass the Post Office on your right, turn right onto Church Rd. Follow Church Rd. all the way to the end; the church will be right in front of you. Follow the gravel drive around to the parking area in the rear.

From Southern Delaware:

Take Rt. 1 north to exit 136 (Rt. 299) at Odessa; turn left. Follow 299 thru Middletown to light at 301/299. Turn left; bear right on 299 at Hoobers Farm Equipment. As you go thru the small town of Warwick, watch for the post office on your right hand side; just past the Post Office turn right onto Church Rd. Follow Church Rd. all the way to the end; Old Bohemia will be directly ahead of you. Follow the gravel drive around to the parking area in the rear.

From St. Joseph Parish Complex:

Take Rte. 299 West through Middletown to light at 301/299. Turn left; bear right on 299 at Hoobers Farm Equipment.
